J&K: Terrorists slit throat of PDP’s worker’s wife

Srinagar, July 9 :In a shocking incident, two terrorists barged into Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker’s house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district and slit the throat of his wife who was trying to thwart their attempt to abduct her husband.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said terrorists forcibly entered into the house of Abdul Majid Dar of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Hajin area’s Shahgund village on Sunday night.

The terrorists attacked Dar’s wife Shakeela Begum when she intervened to save her husband from being abducted, terrorists attacked her and slit her throat. Later, she succumbed in the hospital in Srinagar, police said.

In an another incident, an unidentified terrorists was killed in an overnight encounter with security forces in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir after a tip off about the presence of terrorists.
