J&K: Militants attack Army patrolling party in Kupwara

Srinagar, June 8: Militants attacked an army patrol party in Haril area of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

No injuries or casualties have been rea ported so far.

This comes a day after two soldiers were injured after terrorists attacked an army patrol party near Line of Control fence in Kashmir’s Keran sector.

It is to be noted that Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is in Srinagar to review security arrangements.

Later in a day, Singh is scheduled to meet people living in border areas in Kupwara and Jammu.

The Union Home arrived in the valley on Thursday. Yesterday he called on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
