J&K: Bullet-riddled body of abducted police constable found in Kulgam

Srinagar, July 21: A bullet-riddled body of abducted Jammu and Kashmir police constable Mohammed Saleem recovered from Kulgam’s Qaimoh Gath on Saturday.

Saleem was kidnapped from his home in Matalhama area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam last night.

According to the reports, the constable, who was undergoing training in Kathua in Jammu, was currently on leave.

This comes nearly a month after a soldier was abducted and killed by terrorists in south Kashmir.

Rifleman Aurangzeb belonged to 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and was posted at the 44 Rashtriya Rifles camp at Shadimarg in Shopian.

The Jawan’s bullet-ridden body was recovered from Pulwana’s Gussu village on June 13 after he was kidnapped at gunpoint while he was on way back home on Eid leave.
