Jhulan Goswami created history by becoming highest wicket-taker in Women’s ODIs

Indian women’s cricket pacer Jhulan Goswami with a record of 181 wickets becomes the highest wicket-taker in women One-Day Internationals (ODIs).

Goswami surpassed former Australia pacer Cathryn Fitzpatrick’s tally of 180 to break the record of ODI.

Jhulan clinched the title of best wicket taker after picking up three wickets against South Africa during the ongoing Women’s Quadrangular Series.

With her splendid bowling spell, Goswami now have record of 181 wickets in in 153 games at an average of 21.76.

Goswami belongs to Nadia district of West Bengal and grew up with a strong passion for football.

India’s flamboyant player started her cricket journey in 2002 against England at Chennai and since then she never stopped showcasing her splendid performance.
