Jharkhand: Yashwant Sinha arrested for Navratri march in restricted route

Jharkhand, April 4: Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha along with 100 villagers are arrested for taking out Navratri march through a restricted route in Hazaribagh’s Mahudi.

The locals of the area told media persons that there are 200 Hindu and Muslim families living amicably in the region. They have their own arrangements and rules to abide by. They respect each other’s community and never fight.

As per state government’s 1984 directive, both communities in the village refrain from entering each other’s factions for festival march and thus barricades are formed to prevent the Navratri March. However Sinha along with 100 villagers tried to cross the barricade and was arrested later on.
