Jhanvi who dared JNUSU chief Kanhaiya for open debate receives threat messages

The 15-year-old teenager, Jhanvi Behal who challenged Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union (JNUSU) president Kanhaiya Kumar for an open debate on freedom of expression claims to have received threat on social media.

The Ludhiana girl had dared Kanhaiya Kumar on the wake of patriotism and nationalism being questioned. The teenager had decided to challenge Kanhaiya because she felt that the JNUSU president had spoken against Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrongly in his speech and wanted to prove Kanhaiya’s statements wrong and talk about the real work Modi has done for the country.

Behal has earlier actively participates in Narendra Modi’s pet projects like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and has also received letter of appreciation from Narendra Modi along with a biography of Swami Vivekanda to congratulating her for her work and motivating her to do more such work in the future.

Earlier this month, challenging to debate with Kanhaiya, she said, “I’m ready to debate wherever and whenever he (Kanhaiya Kumar) wants. Whatever Kanhaiya ji said against Prime Minister Narendra Modi is completely wrong and unacceptable.Would have been better if he had spoken against those ‘Deshdrohis‘ who raised anti-national slogans rather than talking about Modi.
