JEE Main, NEET, and JEE Advanced Exam postponed in view of COVID-19 pandemic

New Delhi: The HRD Ministry postponed the JEE Main, NEET, and JEE Advanced entrance exams again due to the coronavirus pandemic. Exams now in September.

Now, the JEE Main – entrance exam for admission to undergraduate level engineering courses will be held from September 1 to 6 and JEE Advanced will be held on September 27. NEET will now be held on September 13. This is the second time this year that the exams have been postponed. These were to be held in April and May, respectively.

The minister was compelled to rethink in conducting the entrance after communications received from agitating students and parents from the country and abroad. A few days ago, parents of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2020) candidates in the Middle East countries have filed a plea in Supreme Court demanding to postpone the medical entrance exam.
