After HRD minister Smirti Irani takes charge of Textile Ministry, In a maniac manner, Janta Dal United JD(U) MP Ali Anwar mocks that the textile ministry has been given to Union Minister to cover her body.
Well it is not the first time that the JD(U) leaders have made such statements but the question arises on JD(U) supremo and Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar to take action against his MP.
However, The CM who always to be a title-holder of women rights, now it seems that this is the right time to set an example and come down heavily on his party leader chauvinist remark.
Meanwhile, Ali Anwar by defending himself said that “There is nothing sexual about my remark; I have not said anything wrong; no need to apologise.”
Taking on JDU leader, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Sanju Verma said, “The JDU has a history of senior party leaders speaking out of context, having misogynistic bent of mind. Rather than commenting on Smriti Irani, the JDU would do well to look into its own backyard. He has to unconditionally apologise.”
