JD-U hits out at Sharad for not supporting alliance with BJP

Sharad Yadav

Patna, Aug 3: Targeting former party president Sharad Yadav for not backing new alliance with the BJP , Bihar’s ruling party JD-U  on Thursday accused him of compromising with corruption.

Speaking to media JD-U chief spokesperson Sanjay Singh said “Sharad Yadav is compromising with corruption by supporting the RJD and Congress-led ‘grand alliance’ in Bihar.”

Singh also criticised  Sharad Yadav`s seminar against communalism which is slated to  be held in New Delhi on August 17, as it is scheduled  two days ahead of the JD-U National Executive meeting in Patna .

The seminar will be attended by most of top leaders belonging to the Congress, Left and regional parties

However, this is the very first time  JD-U leaders have launched a direct scathing attack against Sharad Yadav since Nitish Kumar joined hands with the BJP and formed government in Bihar.

After Kumar announced coalition of his party with the Bharatiya Janata Party, Sharad Yadav has stated that his decision to ally with the BJP violated the mandate given by the people of Bihar in 2015.
