Bharatpur, Oct 4: Congress MLA Vishvendra Singh on Thursday said that they will launch a massive agitation demanding reservation for Jats from October 5, if demands are not fulfilled by the Rajasthan government.
“State Government has assured us of talks today evening, if our demands are not fulfilled then from tomorrow we will launch a massive agitation demanding reservation for Jats”, he told ANI.
Earlier, Singh was arrested Tuesday seeking withdrawal of cases against Jat community members during their June 2017 protest for reservation in state jobs and educational institutions. Later, however, he was released.
He had also given an ultimatum of three days to the Vasundhara Raje government and stated he would launch another agitation if nothing done in the matter.
