Jammu & Kashmir: Militants attack Congress leader’s house

Srinagar, Nov 26: Terrorists on Saturday late night attacked a Congress leader’s house in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Sunday.

The cops  said a few shots were heard  near the house of Imtiyaz Parray, Congress leader and the son of slain counter-insurgent commander, Kuka Parray, in Hajin area in Bandipora district, news agency IANs reported.

“We are ascertaining the facts,” police said.

According to the reports, terrorists also hurled a grenade at his home.

Addresing media , Parray said he was inside the house when the militants opened fire.

“Fortunately, nobody was hurt,” he added.
