New Delhi, June 22: In the wake of imposition of governor’s rule, Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra will hold an all-party meeting in Srinagar.
All the national political parties are expected to attend the meeting.
After assuming the reins of administration in the state, this will be Vohra’s first interaction with leaders of mainstream political parties.
Jammu and Kashmir was placed under governor’s rule on Wednesday under Article 92 of the state.
The development took place a day after the PDP-BJP government collapsed as the BJP broke its three-year-old alliance with the regional party, saying it has become untenable for the saffron party to continue in the government due to the growing radicalism and terrorism in the state.
