J&K: 2 CRPF personnel killed in Anantnag attack

Srinagar, July 13: Two CRPF troopers lost their lives on Friday after Terrorists have fired upon the party in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. 

The attacktook place in Sheer Pora area of Anantnag.

On  Thursday, a militant was killed during an ongoing operation by security forces in Kupwara.

The unidentified militant was brought down in the Sadu Ganga forest area during an encounter with the army, according to media reports.

The security forces launched an operation in the forest area on July 10 following the presence of several militants there.

In the same gunfight, an army commander was killed and another wounded on July 11.
