Srinagar, Jan 18: Minutes after hurling a grenade at a paramilitary patrol party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Lal Chowk on Friday, terrorists hurled another grenade at a police camp in Shopian district.
The first attack was aimed at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) vehicle near the Clock Tower in the city centre that missed its target damaging some shops in the vicinity as their window panes were broken.
The grenade in Shopian exploded without causing any damage, the police said.
There have been two militant attacks in the city in the last 24 hours.
On Thursday, three policemen were injured in the attack in Rajbagh area.
