Jaitley slams Pakistan, says no place for those backing terrorism

Surat, Nov 26: Expressing displeasure over the release of  Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Sunday snubbed Pakistan for backing terrorism.

While addressing a gathering here, Jaitley said ” Hafiz Saeed was released by Pakistan just two days before the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attack,  The whole world is saying that a country which supports terrorism has no place in the global front”.

Speaking about the Jammu and Kashmir, he stated the situation in the valley had improved. “Today, the situation is such that whoever becomes the commander of Lashkar knows he will not live more than two-three months.”

He said demonetisation helped in curbing violence.

The Finance minister also highlighted developmental activities being carried out in poll-bound Gujarat.
