Jai Prakash Singh removed as BSP’s national coordinator: Mayawati


Lucknow, July 17: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati on Tuesday removed Jai Prakash Singh as party’s national coordinator for making controversial remarks. 

“I came to know about BSP national coordinator Jai Prakash Singh’s speech in which he spoke against the ideology of BSP and also made personal remarks against the leadership of rival parties. It’s his personal opinion. So, he has been removed from his post with immediate effect, said Mayawati.

The BSP chief also issued several guidelines for the party leaders while making statements in public. “In Uttar Pradesh and in other states as well, until an alliance with a party is announced, members of the Bahujan Samaj Party should refrain from speaking anything about alliance at any level,” She asserted adding that leaders should leave it to the High Command.

The development comes after, Jai Prakash made derogatory remarks against Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

He had also said Cow is not our Mother.

Beside this, Jai Prakash had also projected Mayawati as the potential candidate for the post of Indian prime minister.
