New Delhi, June 22: After treating the audience with three of its mini-trailers, the makers of ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ have come up with its first song ‘Radha’. Shah Rukh Khan along with Anushka Sharma and Imtiaz Ali launched the song at Ahmedabad and interestingly by inviting women named Sejal from the city.
The 51-year-old actor received a loud welcome amid screams from his fans. In fact, during the event, he gave all the more reasons to the girls to love him when he said “I love you” in Gujarati. He revealed that he had specially learnt it for all the Sejals. He said, “Please calm down. I have learnt Gujarati specially for you. I am a Punjabi in the film while Anushka is a Gujarati so I have learnt few things from her, like ‘Kem cho, saro che’.” And the moment Shah Rukh ended the sentence, girls went gaga as they kept chanting his name. Some even screamed – ‘I love you Shah Rukh.’

SRK released the song at Ahmedabad on Wednesday. In the song, SRK, who plays Harry in the film, spreads the essence of Punjab. This song is a peppy number which starts with Shah Rukh Khan revealing the reason why Punjabi singer sing loudly which leaves Anushka Sharma confused. At the end of the song, Sejal is telling Harry that she is all set to become his Radha but Harry just replies by saying, “Nice, Sweet, Sasta Type, Thodha Garam Gaa Sakti Hai?”
The ending of the song is as interesting as its beginning. The song closes where Sejal in a very sweet way sings a few lines from the song on which Harry packs a punch.
The song’s beat will force you to hit the dance floor as soon as possible and will urge you to listen on the loop. This electrifying track is composed by Pritam and legendary voice of Shahid Mallya and Sunidhi Chauhan. It’s a delight to watch Anushka perform the energy-packed dance steps as Shah Rukh sways along in style.
Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming directorial venture is a movie that has gone through more name changes from The Ring to Rehnuma. This Shah Rukh Khan- Anushka Sharma starrer has kept its fans intrigued since the very first day. Having recently settled down on the name Jab Harry Met Sejal, an obvious take on Hollywood’s When Harry Met Sally starring Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, with a hint of Ali’s first blockbuster Jab We Met.
The movie sees Khan in the role of a tourist guide from Punjab while Sharma plays a Gujarati girl. What follows is an entertaining affair. The romantic drama was widely shot in Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Budapest and it marks the third time that Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma have been paired together after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
