New Delhi, Aug 8: US President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump will visit Hyderabad in the last week of November, for the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Summit which is slated to be held on November 28, sources told The Indian Express.
As per the sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to the attend the eight edition of the GES, which was started by former US President Barack Obama in 2010.
During his first meeting with US President Trump in Washington in June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Ivanka for the upcoming Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
Announcing about the invitation at the White House Rose Garden joint press statement, Trump had said, “And I believe she has accepted.”
Later, Ivanka tweeted “Thank you, Prime Minister Modi, for inviting me to lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India this fall”.
The NITI Aayog has been assigned the task of organising the mega event, in association with Ministry of External Affairs and Andhra Pradesh government.
This is the very first time, India is hosting the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
