New Delhi, Aug 5, 2017: A day after Rahul Gandhi’s convoy attacked in Gujarat, Congress vice-president on Saturday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying it was Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) kind of politics.
Speaking to media after casting vote for Vice-Presidential election, Gandhi said “A BJP worker threw a big stone in my direction. It hit by PSO (Personal Security Officer). It’s the Modi, BJP and RSS’ kind of politics. What more can I say?
While referring to PM Modi indirectly, Gandhi said that “Why would they condemn it when they are behind the incident”.
On friday, Rahul Gandhi faced hostile black-flag waving crowds shouting slogans in favour of Prime Minister during his visit to flood-hit Dhanera town in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district, forcing him to beat a retreat. His car was pelted with stones, shattering some windows.
