Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Thursday is all set to afloat the GSLV-F05 carrying advanced weather satellite INSAT-3DR from the spaceport of Sriharikota.
The 29 hour countdown for the launch of GSLV-F05/INSAT-3DR Mission has started at 11.10 hours on September 7, the space agency said.
The lift-off is scheduled to take place from the second launch pad at at 16:10 hours (IST) from the spaceport of Sriharikota, about 110 km from here, the space agency said, adding, tomorrow’s launch is an advanced weather satellite that would provide a variety of “meteorological services to the country.”
GSLV-F05 is the advanced weather satellite in which the indigenously created Cryogenic Upper Stage (CUS) will be carried on-load up for the fourth time amid a GSLV flight. GSLV-F05 is huge since it is the primary operational flight of GSLV conveying Cryogenic Upper Stage.
