Ink attack on Kejriwal for surgical strike remark

Jaipur, Oct 5: Two youth on Tuesday hurled ink on Delhi chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal allegedly for his Surgical Strike remark in the state’s Bikaner city.

Kejriwal triggered a controversy after he asked for proofs of the surgical strikes.

However, Kejriwal later clarified his statement by stating that he asked for proofs to counter Pakistan’s propaganda of denying the attack which was being endorsed by the international media.

Meanwhile, police have detained both the assailants.

The attack held late in the evening at a residential complex when Kejriwal was coming out after meeting his acquaintance.

Kejriwal went Bikaner to attend a condolence meeting at the home of a local leader of his Aam Aadmi Party.

Questing is on with both the attackers, said Police.

According to the Sources, Kejriwal was attacked apparently by students affiliated with RSS’s student wing Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) for his remarks on Indian Army’s surgical strike.

However surprisingly, Kejriwal in his tweet on ink attack said, ” Hmmm… God bless those who threw ink at me. I wish them well.”
