New Delhi, Nov 19: The nation today fondly remembered India’s first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth centenary.
Born on hundred years ago on this day in Uttar Pradesh’s Allahabad, Gandhi played a crucial role in politics with a courageous attitude. In the morning former President Pranab Mukerjee along with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi visited ‘Shakti sthal’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi , President Ram Nath Kovind , Mamata Banerjee and other leaders also paid tributes.
