India’s wholesale price inflation eases to 2.84% in Jan

New Delhi, Feb 15: India’s annual wholesale price inflation eased to 2.84 percent in January from 3.58 percent in December 2017 for the second straight month after touching an eight-month high in November, government data showed on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry data, wholesale food prices in January rose 1.65 percent year-on-year, compared with a 2.91 percent rise a month earlier, Reuters reported.
