Indian man who crossed Pak border 27 years ago, held after entering India illegally

Jaisalmer, Oct 10, 2017: An Indian man, who had crossed the border to enter Pakistan nearly 27 years ago, has come back to India through illicit way 6 months ago. The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has apprehended the man and taken him into the custody.

55-year-old Hasan Khan, has entered India in April this year and kept hiding at several places in Gujarat and Maharashtra before being arrested by t he investigating agencies. He had come to meet his ailing parents who live with his wife and children in Siyalon Ki Dhani under Sam police station area in Jaisalmer district.

He allegedly paid Pakistani Rupees 5,000 to illegal agents to cross the India-Pakistan border in 1990 to meet his ailing brother-in-law in Kharado village in Amarkot district.

He is currently being interrogated by the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
