India’s ‘Lady of Harley 2016’ Veenu Paliwal who wanted to make a documentary on her nationwide bike journey lost her life in an road accident in Vidisha district, Madhya Pradesh on late Monday evening.
Paliwal aged 44, met with an accident when she was on her nationwide tour on her Harley Davidson. She was accompanied on another bike by fellow biker Dipesh Tanwar.
Paliwal died when her bike went out of control on a turn and she skid off a road near Gyaraspur about 100km from Bhopal. She was rushed to a primary health centre and later to the Vidisha district hospital, where she was declared brought dead.Paliwal and Tanwar were heading to Bhopal from Sagar when the accident took place. Paliwal was a Jaipur resident, was widely known for her skills with the motorcycle and for having driven the Harley Davidson bikes at 180kmph. She was planning to make a documentary on her nationwide bike journey.
The police said that her family and friends had been informed about the accident and that they would be reached Jaipur soon. The post-mortem on Paliwal’s body was to take place today morning. Veenu Paliwal had recently been named the Lady of the Harley 2016.
