India attains third spot in ICC ODI ranking

On Monday, ICC announced the latest ODI ranking in which India is at third position with 117 points, while South Africa retains its number one spot.

Indian squad gained three points in the latest annual update. Australia regained its second position on the table. Eighth-ranked Pakistan opened up a nine-point advantage over West Indies in the ninth spot.

New Zealand is below India with 115 points. England, which is going host the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, stay put on fifth rank but gained one point to 109.

Pakistan is at number Eight, opened up with a nine-point advantage over ninth ranked West Indies.
