MP: Income-Tax department raids residence of CM Kamal Nath’s close aides

New Delhi: April 7 : The Income-Tax officials on Sunday raided the Indore house at 3 am of a close aide of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath.

The IT raids are underway at the residences of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s officer on special duty Praveen Kakkar in Indore and advisor RK Miglani in Delhi in connection with an alleged hawala case.

I-T dept is conducting searches at 50 locations. Searches underway at locations of MP Chief Minister’s OSD, Ratul Puri, Amira Group and Moser Bayer. Searches also underway in Bhopal,Indore,Goa and 35 locations in Delhi. More than 300 I-T officials conducting the searches.

A team of income tax officers from Delhi reached the home of Kakkar in Indore’s Vijay Nagar at 3 am.

I-T searches are underway at 50 locations including Indore, Bhopal, Goa and Delhi.

Sources said Rs. 9 crore has been found, and a total of six places including the homes of the two officers were raided in Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.

The two officers had already quit from their posts after the election code came into force last month.
