New Delhi, Nov 22: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday challenged BJP leader Ram Madhav to prove his allegations of Pakistani links of his party or apologize, forcing the latter to retract his statement.
“Now that u deny any external pressure I take back my comment, but, now that u proved it was genuine love between NC n PDP that prompted a failed govt formation attempt,u shud fight next elections Together. Mind u it’s a political comment, not personal”, Madhav Tweeted.
Abdullah has challenged Madhav saying you have RAW, NIA and IB at your command (CBI too is your parrot) so have the guts to place evidence in the public domain. Either prove this or be man enough to apologise.
“Don’t practice shoot scoot politics, he added.
Earlier in a day, Ram Madhav, the BJP’s pointsman for Jammu and Kashmir, alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and National Conference boycotted local body polls last month “because they had instructions from across the border (Pakistan).
“Probably they had fresh instructions from across the border to come together & form govt. What they did prompted the governor to look into the whole issue”, the saffron party leader stated.
Ram Madhav’s remarks came a day after Governor Satya Pal Malik dissolved the Assembly even as the PDP wrote to him saying that the Congress and the National Conference had decided to back her party to form a government and their collective strength was 56.
