Mumbai, August 29: The 42-year-old Bollywood Actress Karisma Kapoor says she made major fashion mistakes and blunders during her initial stage in the film industry.
Karisma entered the Bollywood world when she was just 17 and made her debut in the film ‘Prem Qaidi’. she is the daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor.
She said with time her fashion sense has improved and people praise her for it. The actress also loves being classic.
“I have made many fashion blunders. I was so young when I joined films. It was like I was just out of school and on the film set. We didn’t know much. But as I have grown up in the industry, my fashion sense has evolved. And I feel I do have a distinct sense of style and I am glad that people like my style,” Karisma said.
The Zubeidaa star also said that today’s generation look it better as they have a whole team working on their looks.
“When I started which is like years ago we never had the facility to have such good stylists, such great make-up artists, now there is an entire team behind the actresses.
“I think it’s way easier for today’s generation of actresses to look good. We just had to wear what directors or producers said in those days,” she added.
“My fashion sense is just about me being me. I like the sophisticated and classic styles and looks and I have always stuck to that. I think that is what I am and it reflects through me,” she said on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016.
