Dhaka, Jan 3: Hundreds of shops were gutted in a major fire that broke out at a market in Bangladesh on Tuesday morning.
The blaze engulfed the entire market and destroyed goods, property at diplomatic enclave Gulshan.
The flames were doused by at least 21 units of firefighters, Xinhua news agency reported.
According to him, a portion of the two-storey Gulshan DCCI market also collapsed.
However, no casualties have been reported.
Meanwhile, the reason of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
