Hooda hits out Khattar, says to safeguard vote bank nothing was done


New Delhi, Aug 30, 2017: Slamming Haryana government over the violence erupted after the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday said that the situation in state could have been easily avoided.

Speaking to media, Hooda said “situation could have been easily avoided but due to negligence of government or safeguarding vote bank nothing was done.”

Earlier today, despite 38 Deaths in Haryana violence, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said we have done our work sincerely and mocked demands for resignation.

Last Friday, violence triggered in Haryana and nearby areas which claimed 32 lives in Panchkula and six in Sirsa, besides leaving over 260 injured.
