Himachal Pradesh election: BJP announces Prem Kumar Dhumal as the party’s CM candidate


Bhartiya Janta Party president Amit Shah in his visit to Himachal Pradesh informed that Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal will be leading the BJP campaign in the upcoming Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.

While declaring Dhumal as BJP’s chief minister candidate Shah in a rally in Solan said, Dhumal will be chief minister after December 18, the day of the counting of votes.

Elections in the state will be held on November 9 in a single-phase. Counting of votes will be done simultaneously for both Himachal and Gujarat.

Before Virbhadra Singh, Himachal Pradesh was governed by BJP’s leader Prem Kumar Dhumal.
