June 29, Thursday : Bharatiya Janata Party leader, Meenakshi Lekhi who has a bagged number of educational degrees from top universities in her name, has become a talking point after she couldn’t write Swachh Bharat in Hindi.

Lekhi went to an inaugural event of a healthy charioteer organised by Indraprastha Gas Limited on Wednesday in Delhi, where she was asked to write  Swachh Bharat in Hindi. She wrote Sawasth Bharat instead of Swachh Bharat.

Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Harshvardhan, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari and top leaders also attended the programme.

Interestingly, Lekhi is among one of most highly qualified leader. She is a B.Sc. graduate from Delhi University’s Hindu College, later completed her LLB that too from University of Delhi. After this she started practicing at the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and several other courts, tribunals and forums in different parts of the country.

After her picture went viral on social media, Lekhi justified her mistake by saying she hadn’t studied Hindi language after class 8th and accepted her mistake.
