New Delhi, Oct 9: The trailer of the most controversial and most awaited film of 2017 ”Padmavati” is out . Makers of the film released on Monday at 13:03.
According to Wikipedia, “In 1303, the Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khalji captured the Chittor Fort from the Guhila king Ratnasimha, after an eight month long siege. The conflict has been described in several legendary accounts, including the historically unreliable Padmavat, which claims that Alauddin’s motive was to obtain Ratnasimha’s beautiful wife Padmini.” In the film Ratnasimha, or Ratan Singh, is being played by Kapoor while Singh is Khilji.
Coming to the trailer of the movie, Deepika’s look is totally outstanding and graceful. She is ravishing her royal look .
The trailer showcases the chemistry between Shahid and Deepika’s chemistry beautifully in the initial scenes where Rani Padmavati is stitching Maharawal Ratan Singh’s pagdi.
The filmmaker surprised everyone as he unveiled the look of the three lead characters of his film. Deepika’s look as Rani Padmini redefined royalty while Shahid Kapoor’s Maharawal Ratan Singh look was impressive. But it was Ranveer Singh’s menacing Sultan Alauddin Khilji avatar that we loved the most. The actor was unrecognisable in his new avatar. His long tresses, his kohl eyes and the scar, everything about his look was just too good. The actor will be seen in a negative role in the film for the very first time.
We have to say, the two look really good together and should do more films soon. Ranveer Singh will give you goosebumps each time he appears onscreen.

Shahid Kapoor’s hot body also cannot be missed in the trailer, the actor has worked really hard and it shows. The colours, the war sequences, the background score which are a part of the trailer will hook you on instantly.
Apart from Deepika, Shahid and Ranveer, the film also features Aditi Rao Hydari, Jim Sarbh and Raza Murad in key roles. After a lot of delays, the film produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Bhansali Productions will finally hit theatres on December 1.
