Helicopter crashes in Mumbai’s Goregaon: 1 dead, four injured

New Delhi, Dec 11: In a helicopter crash on Sunday, one person died and other four people were injured in the Filter Pada area of Aarey Colony, in Mumbai’s Goregaon.

Two of the four injured were the pilots Captain PK Mishra and Captain Devendra Singh. A pilot reported a mechanical problem, most probably in the clutch assembly to Air Traffic Control, before the chopper crashed.

The helicopter was made in 1992. It was originally with Pawan Hans, and was later sold to Aman aviation – which used it for joy rides after repairing it.
