Rajasthan, April 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said India has stopped the policy of getting scared of Pakistan’s threats while affirming that India had the capability to launch nuclear attacks from land, air and sea.
“India has stopped the policy of getting scared of Pakistan’s threats. Every other day they used to say “We have a nuclear button, we have nuclear button”…..What do we have then? Have we kept it for Diwali?,” he said at a rally in Rajasthan’s Barmer.
Modi said that his government, unlike the Congress, had refused to be intimidated by Pakistan’s nuclear threats and given it a “fitting reply” through the Balakot air strike.
Appealing to people to give him another chance for the next five years, Modi said “getting the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill passed in Parliament would be one of his first tasks, as three generations of sons and daughters of India” had been facing oppression in Pakistan and elsewhere.
Addressing a rally in Gujarat’s Patan,Prime Minister Modi said that when Wing Commander Abhinandan was captured by the Pakistani forces – a day after India carried out the airstrikes across the Line of Control, “I told Pakistan that if anything happens to him then we will not leave you.”
PM appealed to the people to take care of the son of its soil and to give all the 26 parliamentary constituencies to BJP .
