Haryana Violence: Khattar mocks demands for resignation, says we have done our work sincerely

New Delhi, Aug 30: Despite 38 Deaths in Haryana violence, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday said we have done our work sincerely and mocked demands for resignation.

Khattar’s remark comes after meeting BJP president Amit Shah in Delhi.

During his meet, Khattar submitted a report on the violence that erupted after the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in rape case.

Speaking to media, He said let them demanding my resignation. We have done our work seriously, (Jo maangta hai vo maangta rahe, humne apna kaam acchi tarah kiya tha).

“Its a democracy,we appeal all groups and welcome support. That doesn’t mean you break law-Khattar on Dera saying BJP came to power with their support”, he added.

Last Friday, violence triggered in Haryana and nearby areas which claimed 32 lives in Panchkula and six in Sirsa, besides leaving over 260 injured.
