Gurgaon, September 2 : Former chief minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Sunday termed the FIR against him in 2008 Gurugram land grab case as ‘politically motivated’.
“Its a politically motivated FIR through a private complaint. People now know this Govt’s intentions, elections are near and they have found nothing against us. It is just their frustration,” Hooda was quoted as saying in a tweet
“People know ruling party’s (BJP) intentions, elections are near and they have found nothing against us. It is just their frustration. I wish God will forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing, what they are saying.”
An FIR has been filed against UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s son- in-law Robert Vadra,real estate giant DLF and former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at Kherki Daula police station in Gurgaon.
Vadra, however, denied the charges, saying it was attempt to distract people from “real issues”. “It’s election season… there is an increase in oil prices… so let’s divert the real issues of people… what’s new?” he said.
