Delhi, 28 Feb: Delhi University student and Kargil martyr’s daughter Gurmehar Kaur, who has become the Centre of talks after her social media campaign against ABVP has backed out from protests march on Tuesday.
Her campaign was against ABVP that triggered violence in Delhi University following an invitation to Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid in the campus.
Later on, her earlier facebook post that pronounced peace against war and stated her father was killed by war and not Pakistan became the bone of content for her haters.
Although she backed out from the protest march, political slugfest cease to rest. Now her grandfather Kanwaljeet Singh has chipped in and urged everyone to not create any more controversy over the issue.
He also expressed his concerns over the safety of Gurmehar as she has received rape threats for running anti-ABVP Campaign on social media.
