New York, 10 Nov: At least 5 persons were injured outside the 7-Eleven store on Third Avenue between Pike and Pine streets in Seattle on Wednesday night as shooting was reported near anti-Donald Trump rally in Seattle, Washington.
The gunshots were reported at around 7 p.m. at a major bus stop, the Seattle Times reported.
According to the witnesses, a group of people were arguing when the gunman began to walk away, and then turned around and fired into the crowd. At least one victim was a bystander, Seattle police Assistant Chief Robert Merner said.
One of the victims is reported critical, Merner said, adding all of the victims, four males and one female, were taken to Harborview Medical Centre.
After winning the US 2016 presidential elections, Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States. Anti trump slogans were flashed including “Dump the trump” and “Not my president” at the rally.
