New Delhi, Jan 22: Special Cell of Police on Monday arrested most wanted terrorist Abdul Subhan Qureshi in connection with Gujarat’s 2008 serial blasts.
Abdul Subhan Qureshi alias Tauqeer, an alleged co-founder of militant outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM), was named in the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) most-wanted list.
He is also suspected to be involved in the July 2006 Mumbai train blasts.

“Abdul Subhan Qureshi was living with forged documents in Nepal. He came back to India to revive Indian Mujahideen”, he added.
According to Police, Qureshi is closely linked to the banned Students’ Islamic Movement of India or SIMI, had plotted the Gujarat serial blasts which claimed 56 lives and injured over 200.
