New Delhi, April 22: After BJP PDP coalition seemed to be under a fix to bring back normalcy in the Kashmir Valley yesterday, Former Finance Minisiter and Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram said on Saturday said there is a growing clamour for Governor’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
Yesterday PDP BJP leaders met J&K’s Governor to access the ground situation of Kashmir unrest, which was followed by a meeting within PDP and BJP leaders.
Several reports suggested that the possibility of Governor’s rule is being considered to control the situation of valley.
Senior Congress leader on Saturday tweeted: Glad more people have realised PDP-BJP (Peoples Democratic Party-Bharatiya Janata party) government is a disaster.

In a series of tweet, Chidambaram also said, “The honourable course for… CM of J&K (Mehbooba Mufti) is to snap the coalition with BJP and make peace with the people.”
“If that means a spell of Governor’s rule, so be it.”
Meanwhile Kashmir Valley has been on the boil since the Srinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha by-election of April 9 when security forces shot dead eight protesters.
A re-poll on April 13 also saw violence including the killing of a youth in Srinagar.
