GoAir adds more 15 flights in winter schedule


Mumbai, Nov 7: Low cost carrier GoAir on Tuesday said that it has added 15 flights to its network during the present winter schedule.

As per the airline, starting October 29, 2017, GoAir operated its first daily flight between Jammu and Leh and also increased frequencies between Mumbai and Patna and Delhi to Chandigarh amongst other sectors.

“This is in sync keeping in mind the response to growing demand from the corporate travellers and upcoming holidays for leisure travellers,” the carrier stated in a statement.

“With the introduction of the winter schedule, the airline has increased its operations by 26 per cent to 1,544 flights per week”, it further added.

Recently, Budget carrier IndiGo said it will achieve 1,000 flights per day mark this December.

According to the airline, it will launch 47 flights including additional frequencies on its network, which will take its operations to 1,000 flights per day mark by December 23.
