GDP stands for Gas, Diesel and Petrol, says Kapil Sibal

New Delhi, Sep 22, 2017: Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal on Friday launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government by saying the party used to say GDP will rise but now came to know what GDP stands for them.

Addressing a press conference, Sibal said “BJP used to say GDP will rise. Now we understood GDP stands for Gas, Diesel and Petrol.”

The Congress leader further asked BJP is increasing the price of subsidised LPG and decreasing the price of non subsidised LPG.So now where is the difference?

At the time of UPA, 1% of people owned 30% wealth of India. Today that 1% owns 51% wealth of India, he added.

Talking on Unemployment, the Rajya Sabha member said “Job losses have become rampant and there are no new jobs coming in the market.”

Sibal added that “there is no need for the white paper on Govt’s performance as the writing is very much on the wall that government has failed on every parameter.”

It’s very strange that victims of Gau Rakshaks are the ones who are hunted while the perpetrators of crime are on bail and roaming free, he said.
