New Delhi, Oct 15: Fuel prices continued to soar on Monday (October 15), as the cost increased by 8 paise and 9 paise in four metropolitan cities.
In Delhi and Kolkata, Diesel is being sold at Rs 75.46 per litre (increased by 8 paise) and Rs 77. 31 per litre (increased by 8 paise).
While Mumbai and Chennai saw a hike of 9 paise, with Rs 79. 11 per litre and Rs 79.80 per litre respectively.
On another hand, the petrol price across the four metropolitan cities remained stagnant.
A litre of petrol priced at Rs 82.72, Rs 88.18, Rs 85.99, Rs 84.54 in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata respectively.
Since the past few months, the fuel price has been increasing and caused problems for the common people.
