New Delhi, April 23: Tod valley in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Delhiites also experienced a pleasant weekend morning after days of sunny morning, with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius.
As per the Met forecast, Delhi will see a “thundery development” and dust storm later in the day.
“The sky would remain cloudy with a possibility of development of thunder lightning,” an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach near 39 degrees Celsius, while on Saturday the maximum temperature was 39.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
On Saturday evening, a strong wind kicked up a dust storm in the national capital bringing respite from the heat wave.
The minimum temperature on Saturday was 28.9 degrees, six notches above the season’s average.
