Chandigarh, Oct 2: Four suspected terrorists of Khalistani terror outfit Babbar Khalsa were arrested from Punjab’s Ludhiana district, police informed on Monday.
They were held after the interrogation of seven members of the Babbar Khalsa who were arrested on Saturday after the police busted a terror module with direct links to the Khalistani terror outfit.
Three pistols and some ammunition were recovered from the men arrested earlier.
Ludhiana Police Commissioner R.N. Dhoke informed that on Saturday that the group conspired to target those opposed to or writing against Khalistani ideology and radical Sikh organisations.
The arrested were allegedly linked to and were funded by Surinder Singh Babbar, who is said to be based in London.
Dhoke said that Babbar was providing money and weapons to the members of the group.
