Four children burnt alive in Gurugram


Gurugram, Jan 14, 2017: Four children of a family lost their life after a fire broke out in a slum on Saturday morning, police said.

Two girls and two boys, aged between 5 and 14 years, were burnt alive when the hut they were sleeping in caught fire.

A FIR has been registered against unidentified persons and a team of Gurugram police is currently at the spot to investigate the case. As of now, no official statement has been released on how the fire broke out in the slum.

The family was living in the fields of Mohammadpur village, near the Delhi-Gurugram expressway.

The reason behind the blaze could not be ascertained immediately.
