Fog covers northern states on Wednesday, flights delayed


New Delhi, Nov 30: The fog has covered the northern states of India on Wednesday.

In Delhi, the minimum temperature dipped down to 11 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season’s average.

“The sky was clear with moderate fog in the morning,” informed an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As per Met department, the maximum temperature is expected to reach near 28 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 per cent.Delhifog-wefornewsHowever, the air quality in Capital is still at dangerous levels.


Tuesday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the season’s average, while the minimum temperature settled at 9.7 degrees Celsius, the season’s average.’

The flights were also delayed due to the dense fog in Delhi and Lucknow as well.



In Uttar Pradesh, 7 people injured after a bus collided with a truck in Mau district due to low visibility.



In others states as well, low visibility was witnessed.
