London: Coming out after a hearing at the Westminster Magistrates’ Court, liquor baron Vijay Mallya said that he had met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley before leaving the country.
“I met the finance minster to settle matters before I left. I repeated my offer to settle the matter with the banks. The banks had filed objections to my settlement letters,” Mallya told reporters outside the court in London on Wednesday.
